While her music has been extremely controversial and some believe that she has copied the style of many popular artists and just put her own touch to the music, she has still evolved into a rather successful figure in the music industry.
The pop oddball Lady Gaga was reported by MTV to win the Most Influential Person award but the news hasn’t been confirmed by Time Magazine as of yet. Before you come to the conclusion that this makes Lady Gaga worthy in the music industry you should consider the other people who are to be featured in the magazine. The countries leader Barrack Obama, Steve Jobs from Apple, Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor, Taylor Swift and even Robert Pattinson.

Lady Gaga’s friend known as Cyndi Lauper had some comments about her that you might find rather interesting. She gave her comments about the singer to Time: “An artist’s job is to take a snapshot — be it through words or sound, lyrics or song — that explains what it’s like to be alive at that time.
