Lady Gaga Cancels Indiana Show, Collapses Due to “Exhaustion”
Lady Gaga has been seemingly everywhere lately — on the road with her Monster Ball Tour, meeting the Queen of England, shooting an episode of Oprah Winfrey’s show that airs later today — and the pop star’s demanding schedule may have taken a toll on her health. The singer was scheduled to play at Indiana’s Purdue University last night, but canceled the show at literally the last minute. After openers Semi Precious Weapons and Jason DeRulo performed at the college’s Elliott Hall of Music, the crowd was informed “Lady Gaga will not be able to take the stage this evening due to sudden illness.”

LADY GAGA CANCELS SHOW DUE TO ILLNESS
Lady Gaga’s Monster Ball at Purdue University was cancelled before she went on stage. Purdue students inside Elliott Hall of Music said police escorted the person who appeared on stage to announce the news after opening act Jason DeRulo and Semi Precious Weapons performed. The reason given was sudden illness.
Adam Kurtz was at the concert and said the crowd was in shock after hearing the announcement.
Jeanne Norberg from the Purdue News Service said the concert will be rescheduled for January 26.
The rumours on twitter about Gaga having a serious injury are untrue. Stevy from Semi Precious Weapons said that Gaga felt unwell and had to cancel her performance tonight, a decision which Gaga wasn’t happy about, it killed her to do it.

LADY GAGA WILL APPEAR AT THE BRIT AWARDS
Lady Gaga, JLS and Kasabian are among the acts who will perform at the Brit Awards next month, it was announced today.
The line-up details for the 30th anniversary ceremony come ahead of tonight’s shortlist announcement for which the runners and riders and will be revealed.
One performer who is unlikely to be celebrating is global star Susan Boyle, who is reported to have failed to make the list of nominations, which will be unveiled tonight.
It will be a second appearance at the Brits for US act Lady Gaga, who had last year’s biggest selling single with her chart-topper ‘Poker Face’. In 2009 she accompanied the Pet Shop Boys but when she plays at Earls Court in London this year she will be solo.
Other performances include a collaboration between Dizzee Rascal and last year’s Critics’ Choice winner Florence And The Machine, who will be performing Dirtee Love.
The event – officially titled The Brit Awards 2010 with MasterCard – is the biggest night in the UK music calendar.
Nominations will be announced at a launch party at the IndigO2 venue at London’s O2 Arena tonight hosted by Radio 1 DJ Fearne Cotton, at which hotly tipped newcomer Ellie Goulding and chart acts La Roux and Pixie Lott will perform.
Goulding has already won this year’s Critics’ Choice title which will be presented at the event next month.
Robbie Williams is already assured of at least one Brit win this year as the recipient of the Outstanding Contribution to Music Award.
Boyle however has failed to make the ‘best female’ award list, according to the Daily Mail. ‘The Britain’s Got Talent’ runner-up faced a strong year for female acts in a category which has often been considered rather weak.
Ged Doherty, chairman of The Brits Committee, said of the line-up for the Brits show on February 16: “These acts are young, vibrant and hugely talented. Each brings something different to the Brits party.”

Lady Gaga angers fans by cancelling shows
Lady Gaga has angered fans by cancelling shows due to "exhaustion" - but still making a live appearance on Oprah.
The star took to Twitter to explain that she had been “crying for hours” after cancelling Thursday's show at the Purdue University in Indiana, saying she collapsed due to “exhaustion and dehydration”.
But the next day she seemed fit enough to appear live on the Oprah Winfrey show on TV - yet still went ahead and cancelled the rest of her shows that weekend, including at the Borgata casino in Atlantic City.
"The Borgata lost a ton of business," a source complained. "A lot of people cancelled their trips once they were informed about her no-show. “Administration was not happy, to say the least."
And neither were fans.
"This is what happens when spoiled rich girls become entertainers," one disgruntled fan wrote on her official website. "They don't care about anything but themselves."
